An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join a busy and well-structured finance team supporting multiple locations and operations across the business. This is a fast‑paced, hands‑on role suited to someone with strong accounts receivable experience who enjoys variety, ownership of their workload, and working closely with operational stakeholders in a collaborative onsite environment based in South Dublin (Dublin 12 area) . Role Overview Reporting into the finance function, the Accounts Assistant will play a key role in supporting day‑to‑day finance activities across several sites, ensuring accurate processing, reconciliations, and timely financial administration. This position offers exposure to high transaction volumes and interaction with multiple internal teams. Salary and Benefits • €34,000 – €36,000 per annum depending on experience • Permanent, full-time position • Fully onsite role based in South Dublin / Dublin 12 area • Rotating working hours • Two days per week: 9:00am – 5:30pm • Three days per week: 8:00am – 4:30pm • Supportive and friendly working environment • Opportunity for long-term development within the finance team Key Duties and Responsibilities • Managing the accounts receivable function across multiple locations • Processing high volumes of customer invoices and payments • Supporting accounts payable activities as required • Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records • Liaising with internal teams across different operational sites • General accounts administration and ad-hoc finance support • Assisting the wider finance team during busy periods Requirements and Desirable Experience • Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar finance role • Strong accounts receivable experience is essential • Experience working in a multi-site or high-volume environment • Exposure to accounts payable and reconciliations • Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems This role offers valuable experience within a busy, multi‑site finance environment , providing exposure to end‑to‑end accounts processes , high transaction volumes , and close collaboration with operational teams across the business.
