Salary Guide: £29,000 Our client a fast-growing, independent Property Management Company operating across Scotland and England are looking for a switched on Accounts Assistant to join the team. Experience in purchase ledger, accounts payable or currently working in a similar role would be desirable. The Role Key Responsibilities • Accurately process high volumes of purchase invoices • Reconcile supplier statements, investigating and resolving any discrepancies. • Prepare and process supplier payment runs, ensuring all deadlines are met. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate purchase ledger records in our accounting system Xero and the property management system SME • Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice queries promptly. • Support the finance team with ad-hoc administrative and reporting tasks. About You • Proven experience in a purchase ledger, accounts payable, or similar finance role. • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, even when working with high volumes. • Proficiency with Xero and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers and colleagues. • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
