Description
We are for a senior finance leader to take ownership of their Accounting, Billing, and Tax functions. This is a high-impact role suited to a technically rigorous finance professional who is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves. You will be joining a collaborative leadership team with genuine scope to shape processes, build capability, and drive financial integrity across the business. This is a fully on-site position based in central Paris. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the end-to-end accounting function, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with French GAAP and IFRS standards Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation and review of financial statements Own the billing operations, ensuring invoicing processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with commercial agreements Manage all aspects of tax compliance and reporting, including corporate tax, VAT, and local levies; liaise with external advisors as required Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax authorities, and relevant regulatory bodies Develop and maintain robust internal controls and financial reporting frameworks Partner with the CFO and broader leadership team to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities Drive continuous improvement across accounting systems and processes, identifying automation and efficiency opportunities Manage, mentor, and develop a team of accounting and billing professionals Monitor changes in tax legislation and accounting standards to ensure proactive compliance Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification (CPA, CCA, DSCG, or equivalent) strongly preferred Fluent in English (written and verbal) Significant experience in a senior accounting or finance leadership role, ideally within a multi-entity or international environment Strong technical knowledge of French accounting standards (Plan Comptable Général) and tax regulations Proven experience managing VAT compliance and corporate tax filings in France Demonstrable experience leading and developing finance teams High proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Sage, or equivalent) Preferred Qualifications Experience operating within a regulated industry Exposure to IFRS reporting in addition to French GAAP Prior experience working in or alongside a multinational group structure Experience implementing or improving accounting systems and tools Familiarity with transfer pricing principles Benefits Base Salary: €80,000 to €105,000 gross per annum, commensurate with experience Benefits: Mutuelle (complementary health insurance), Prévoyance (supplemental life and disability cover), meal vouchers (Tickets Restaurant), and participation/profit-sharing scheme where applicable under French law Leave: 25 days paid annual leave (congés payés) in line with French statutory entitlements, plus RTT days applicable to the role Location: Paris, France (on-site) Responsable Finance & Comptabilité Présentation du poste Pour le compte de l'un de nos clients, une organisation en pleine expansion implantée à Paris, nous recherchons un(e) Responsable Comptabilité, Facturation & Fiscalité.
