We are currently hiring our next Accounting Assistant in a part-time capacity, ranging 20-25 hours a week.  Hours can be flexible. Responsibilities include; but not limited to: • Help with month-end financial reports • Help with bank statements reconciliation, as well as accounts payable and receivable • Perform balance sheet reconciliation • Assist with the preparation of ad hoc and other internal reports • Ensure the completion of assigned tasks in line with established deadline • Study the accounting policies and processes of the organization and abide by them • Compose and input journal entries • Assist the coordinator with month-end financial reports • Manage monthly tracking of physical inventory • Support the payment processing team Requirements: • A complete or comprehensive understanding of   accounting practices and procedures • AAS in Accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience • The ability to act responsibly and ethically when working with sensitive financial information, whether it’s information for the company or for individuals • Solid communication skills, with proficiency in speaking and writing • Computer literacy, as accounting clerks are responsible for keying information into various computers and software programs • Strong people skills – a polite and professional demeanor when working with other companies, as well as consumers and coworkers • The willingness and ability to comply with local, state, and federal financial regulations, as well as the regulations established by the company itself
