You are • Resourceful, organized, and detail-oriented • Highly motivated and goal-oriented • Proud of your strong work ethic • Skilled at prioritizing and managing expectations You will • Handle full-cycle accounting for corporate entities, including   consolidated  and unconsolidated  financial statements, bank reconciliations,  partnership equity reconciliations, intercompany  analysis   and GST filings . • Prepare and analyze working papers and  multi-level  consolidation schedules for corporate entities, ensuring that financial information provided is  timely  and relevant for effective decision making • Research technical accounting issues to support compliance , ensuring general ledger correct reflects results. • Support the year-end audit and ERP system improvement initiatives • Champion Anthem's culture in the spirit of The Anthem Way • Take on ad-hoc analysis and projects as they come up You have • 2   -   5+ years of accounting experience, ideally in a complex, multi-entity organization  including exposure to consolidations and financial reporting • A CPA designation  or working towards a CPA designation is  highly  des irable • Strong understanding of ASPE;  REALpac  experience an asset • Proficiency  in MS Office • R eal estate industry  experience  an asset  including  previous  use of Yardi • Great communication  and people skills We have • Great, diverse, authentic people! • Unlimited career growth opportunities • Mentorship from the ‘best in the biz’ • Corporate Giving Strategy supporting community development • Annual salary reviews and performance bonuses • A robust Benefit Plan and Employee Assistance Program • Educational Assistance Program • ‘Dress for your day’ policy… and more!
