Accountant Benelux | International Environment Our client, an international market leader with a strong Benelux presence, is looking for an Accountant to strengthen its finance team. Why apply? Your duties and responsibilities • Manage monthly and year-end closings in accordance with local GAAP and IFRS. • Prepare provisions, accruals and monthly balance sheet reconciliations. • Handle fixed assets accounting and depreciation. • Coordinate and reconcile intercompany transactions across the Benelux entities. • Prepare VAT and other statutory declarations. • Act as the key user for the financial ERP system. • Support payroll accounting in collaboration with HR and external payroll providers. • Assist with group reporting, margin analyses and stock-related reporting. • Participate in internal and external audits. • Contribute to the optimisation and continuous improvement of accounting processes. Ideal profile • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting, ideally in an international environment. • Languages: Fluent in Dutch or French, with a good command of English. • Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience. Strong Excel skills; ERP experience is an asset.
