About the Position An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Account Manager to join our Global Solutions team at Lockton. Our Global Solutions team delivers innovative, tailored insurance programmes for a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from growing businesses to large, complex organisations. With deep market expertise and a collaborative approach, we support clients across a broad spectrum of commercial risks, including multinational insurance programmes and strategic portfolio projects. The Role This role sits within a specialist Global Solutions team, supporting the placement and servicing of corporate and commercial insurance programmes. You'll be responsible for managing day-to-day account handling activities while working closely with clients, internal stakeholders, insurer partners, and international broker networks to deliver exceptional outcomes. You’ll be joining a business that offers: A collaborative and supportive working environment Opportunities for professional development and career progression Exposure to multinational programmes and strategic portfolio projects A strong focus on delivering exceptional outcomes for clients Business unit Belfast Job type Experienced Professional Workplace In Office Your Responsibilities • Manage the placement of a wide range of commercial risks within the insurance market • Provide expert, timely advice to clients on their insurance programmes and risk requirements • Liaise with insurer partners to negotiate and secure appropriate coverage solutions • Take ownership of day-to-day servicing, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries • Manage and coordinate outbound multinational insurance programmes, ensuring effective implementation and servicing across multiple territories • Work closely with international broker partners to support global client requirements • Carry out due diligence analysis on acquisition target insurance portfolios, supporting business growth and acquisition activity • Support the review and assessment of insurance portfolios, identifying potential risks, liabilities, and opportunities • Ensure accurate and efficient file management, maintaining high standards of documentation and record keeping • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal standards • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders • Deliver a high standard of service in line with team and client expectations Qualifications We’re looking for a confident and proactive Account Manager with experience working across commercial or corporate insurance programmes. Skills & Experience • Minimum of 5 years' experience within commercial, corporate, or multinational insurance account management • Previous account handling experience within a corporate insurance environment • Experience managing multinational insurance programmes and coordinating with international broker networks • Strong understanding of technical insurance issues and the ability to apply this knowledge in client-facing scenarios • Experience conducting portfolio reviews, due diligence exercises, or supporting acquisition-related insurance assessments would be advantageous • Experience working with a diverse client base across varying levels of risk complexity • Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines • CII qualified or working towards (desirable) Equal Opportunity Statement Lockton Companies is proud to provide everyone an equal opportunity to grow and advance.
