As an Account Manager, you'll play a key role in delivering strategic Publications and Medical Affairs programs for one or more pharmaceutical clients. You'll serve as a primary client contact, overseeing the successful delivery of scientific communication initiatives while partnering with scientific, editorial, creative, and operational teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You'll also contribute to account growth, operational excellence, and the continued success of our client partnerships.   Here's What You'll Be Doing Serve as the primary day-to-day client contact, building trusted relationships and delivering exceptional client service. Lead the delivery of Publications and Medical Affairs projects, including manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials, advisory boards, slide decks, medical education initiatives, and other scientific communication deliverables. Manage project plans, estimates, budgets, forecasts, reconciliations, and financial tracking, proactively identifying risks and escalating issues where appropriate. Partner with scientific, editorial, creative, digital, and operational colleagues to deliver integrated, high-quality scientific communications. Support the development and execution of strategic publication plans and Medical Affairs communication initiatives aligned with client objectives and clinical milestones. Ensure deliverables meet applicable industry guidelines, client requirements, and quality standards, including ICMJE and GPP where appropriate. Apply best practices and continuously identify opportunities to improve project delivery and operational efficiency. Support proposal development, identify opportunities for organic account growth, and contribute to new business activities. Mentor and support junior team members, sharing knowledge and encouraging collaborative ways of working.   About You We're looking for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is passionate about delivering high-quality scientific communications. You'll also bring: Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related discipline (advanced degree preferred but not required). 3+ years' experience in medical communications supporting Publications, Medical Affairs, or both. Experience managing scientific communication deliverables, such as manuscripts, abstracts, posters, congress materials, medical education content, advisory boards, or other Medical Affairs initiatives. Strong project management skills with experience managing timelines, budgets, forecasts, and financial processes. Confidence building client relationships, anticipating needs, managing expectations, and providing proactive solutions. Experience collaborating across scientific, editorial, creative, digital, and operational teams to deliver integrated communication programs. Knowledge of publication guidelines, including ICMJE and GPP, and familiarity with publication or project management systems such as Datavision is an advantage.
