Description
Job Summary To service and market/distribute the company’s products & services to binderholders, and agencies, in order to deliver value to clients; to maintain renewals and pursue lapsed policies, to assist in the growth thereby identifying prospective partners; and to resolve of issues affecting claims, collections and any other matters of the company ensuring procedure and communication are effective. Primary Responsibilities: 1. Distribute the products and services of the Group to Binderholders, Agencies &       Branches . • Provide service to intermediaries and clients in all aspects of the company’s operations. • Provide support and input into preparing any insurance presentations. • Provide training, support and audit the users of the Broker-Online System. • Market and assist in increasing the portfolio in the various lines of the company’s products to Binderholders and Agencies. • Ensure the retention of all renewals from Binderholders and Agencies • Pursue any profitable lapsed policies. 2. Monitor and develop the company’s portfolio • Sign policy documents and endorsements. • Audit the Binderholders & Agencies from time to time to ensure motor certificates are processed in Maritime’s system. • Ensure producers submit bordereaux as per contract • Ensure all documentation not submitted on bordereaux from Binderholders & Agencies are submit for the processing • Examine business received from Binderholders and Agencies is of a high quality. • Assist in monitoring outstanding premium collection from Binderholders & Agencies. • Resolve any issues between MFG and Binderholders and Agencies. 3. Provide Support to the Team Leader • Prepare reports on binderholders & agencies or any other report as required. • Contribute to the maintenance of team work and team spirit within the unit. • Assist in any project that may be planned from time to time Secondary Responsibilities: • Product Management • Client Care • Client Benefit • Financial Management QUALIFICATIONS Education Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2  in Mathematics and English A and 6 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate with   a focus on accounting or business studies. BSc in Business Studies or Final Year in BSc Insurance Risk Management Experience Minimum two (2) years exper ience in Financial Services Industry/Similar Role. A valid driver's permit & a vehicle in good working condition.
