Description
The Account Executive will be based in Singapore and manage sales and relationships with existing and new Genetec customers, technology partners, consultants, and end users in Singapore and/or Southeast Asia (the assigned territory) by focusing on target verticals (data centers, financial institutions and government agencies). The main role is to increase revenues and ensure regular communication with the APAC team and the corporate office in Montreal, Canada.  What your day will look like: Develop the assigned sales territory/target verticals for company products.  Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to partners.  Identify customer needs, respond to RFIs, RFQs, prepare quotes and write proposals by working with technical support. Monitor and report satisfaction levels from customers, integrators, consultants.  Update and maintain data in CRM or other applications. Stay abreast of the products, applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising, and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical services.  Discover and track opportunities, follow up and distribute leads to the target system integrator partners by working closely with Channel Sales Manager About you: Technical & Solution Knowledge   Min 5 years of experience in a sales role with a focus on physical security solutions  Min 3 years of experience in data centre vertical and familiar with partnering with end users, consultants, main-cons, sub-cons and physical security SI’s Require proven ability to present and position complex physical security solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences Understanding of integration/migration strategies from legacy systems and device compatibility. Presentation & Communication Skills   Demonstrated experience delivering structured presentations with clear agendas, relevant case studies, and credible data points.  Ability to handle objections confidently and maintain audience engagement.    Compliance & Industry Awareness    Confidence in discussing local/regional compliance requirements (e.g., SOCI Act, ISO standards, data sovereignty) and their impact on solution design.  Ability to relate compliance positioning back to our value proposition.  Business Storytelling   Strong capability to link technical features to customer business outcomes, supported by industry insights and customer success stories.   Refined Assessment Process   Include a live mock presentation and Q&A handling exercise during interviews to assess structure, technical accuracy, and persuasiveness.  Let's talk perks!
