Main Mission As an Account & Business Development Specialist, your primary mission is to ensure the retention and growth of existing clients while progressively developing new business opportunities. The role is structured in two phases: Phase 1 – Account Management & Development: Take ownership of an existing client portfolio, ensure high client satisfaction, and identify opportunities for upselling and business expansion within current accounts. Phase 2 – Business Development & Prospecting: Gradually expand your scope to include active prospecting, identification of new market opportunities, and acquisition of new clients to support the company’s growth objectives. This position is ideal for a junior profile willing to grow into a full commercial role, combining account management excellence and business development capabilities. Responsibilities and Activities Client Portfolio Management Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring strong relationships and high satisfaction levels. Manage and maintain a portfolio of existing accounts, ensuring retention and continuity of business. Handle client inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure a smooth customer experience. Maintain accurate client records and activity tracking in the CRM system. Coordinate internally with operations, finance, and product teams to ensure service delivery. Development of Existing Clients Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts. Support contract renewals and participate in commercial negotiations. Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess performance and identify growth opportunities. Monitor account performance and contribute to revenue growth targets. Prepare commercial proposals tailored to client needs. Business Development & Prospecting Identify and target new clients, markets, and business opportunities. Conduct prospecting activities (cold calls, emails, networking, events). Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads. Develop and present tailored business proposals to prospects. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to generate leads and increase brand visibility. Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities. Reporting & Coordination Track and report on account performance, sales pipeline, and business development activities. Maintain up-to-date data in CRM systems. Provide regular feedback and insights on client needs and market evolution to management. Contribute to sales forecasting and action plans. The above duties are not limited or exhaustive.
