The work The ABAP Development Lead will manage RICEFW delivery across reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, ABAP/RAP/CDS/OData development, technical design, quality assurance, and unit testing. They are responsible for technical design oversight, build governance, code review, DevOps promotion, unit testing coordination, defect remediation, performance tuning, and release readiness. This resource will deliver technical designs, build/unit‑test evidence, code reviews, transport inputs, defect logs, performance notes, and KT/runbook inputs. Critical capabilities include ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori extensibility, forms, enhancements, clean core principles, utilities data model expertise, and integration/conversion patterns.
Key responsibilities:
Lead RICEFW delivery across reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows, and ABAP/RAP/CDS/OData development
Oversee technical design, build governance, and code review
Coordinate unit testing and support defect remediation
Support DevOps promotion and ensure release readiness
Perform performance tuning across technical components
Deliver technical designs, build/unit‑test evidence, code reviews, transport inputs, defect logs, performance notes, and KT/runbook inputs
Apply expertise in ABAP, RAP, CDS, OData, Fiori extensibility, forms, enhancements, clean core principles, utilities data models, and integration/conversion patterns
Here’s what you need:
7+ years of experience as an ABAP Developer
RAP, CDS, and OData development experience
Experience with forms, enhancements, and Fiori extensibility
Understanding of clean core principles
Utilities data model experience
Knowledge of integration and conversion patterns
Eligibility requirements:
U.S. Citizen (dual accepted)
Must be eligible to obtain government Public Trust clearance
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland . The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $148,800 — $306,500 USD
