About the Project Tobii Dynavox   is   seeking a highly qualified Regional Content Reviewer to evaluate, refine, and culturally adapt   content   for   Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)   for a specific target-language community. This project is critical in ensuring that AAC content is linguistically and culturally meaningful, relevant, and aligned with real-world communication needs. Target Language • Hungarian Key Responsibilities • Edit and r eview AAC   content   for cultural accuracy , language/grammar use   and regional relevance • Adapt phrasing, vocabulary, and content to reflect local usage norms and real-life communication needs • Provide expert review and insights from the perspective of the target regional AAC community • Collaborate closely with a n internal   AAC Content Developer during the core project phase • Ensure alignment with the established evidence‑based language approach • Deliver timely feedback and edits during weekly remote review cycles Required Qualifications • AAC Specialist, or professional background in Speech-Language Pathology, Education, or Occupational Therapy   with significant AAC experience • Native speaker of the target language, with substantial residence in the target region (preferably including school years) • Fluency in English • Reliable communication habits and responsiveness via email Preferred Qualifications • Academic or applied background in Linguistics Project Commitment • Up to 50 hours over a 6-week period, including an expected commitment of around 15 hours per week during the first three weeks, with more flexible, ad hoc hours in the remaining weeks. • Two fixed weekly sessions with a dedicated AAC Content Developer (based in Pittsburgh, USA and Stockholm, Sweden) during the first three weeks. • Work is fully remote, with collaboration across time zones • Flexible scheduling within the agreed project timeline • This is a project ‑ based independent contractor role and does not constitute an employment relationship. Contractors are responsible for managing their own taxes .
