Description: CNC Turn Mill Machinist
Winslow Automatics Inc., is a contract manufacturer providing custom metal fabrication services which has been serving the aerospace, commercial, and medical industries since 1956. We are a respected aerospace and aircraft parts equipment manufacturer with an outstanding reputation for CNC milling and turning as a contract manufacturer and job shop producing quality machined products. We are currently seeking Milling and Turning CNC machinist for 2nd shift. Daily Duties:
Manufacture product to operation sheet and/or other work instructions. Verify work results, maintain work station in a clean and orderly fashion. Document and sign for the work performed and to work in a safe manner. Your specific duties will include:
· Machine components to print
· Inspect all work to print to ensure specifications are met, using appropriate measuring equipment.
· Maintain all measuring and manufacturing equipment to ensure cleanliness and accuracy
· Perform in process inspection of machined parts
· Complete and maintain all paperwork for parts including documentation of results
Preferred qualifications for the position include: (compensation based on qualifications)
· Knowledge of manufacturing processes, procedures, and production equipment.
· 3+ Years of CNC Machine Operator Experience, working with tight tolerances 6+ years, g-code programming, and blueprint reading
· Working knowledge of micrometers, swiss micrometers, shadowgraphs, chamfers, height gauges, vernier’s, calipers, CMM, and plate inspection tools
· Excellent problem-solving skills, demonstrated quality record
· Ability to work on several tasks and machines simultaneously
· Working knowledge of SolidWorks and Mastercam is helpful but not required
· H.S. Diploma or equivalent
