26-054- PRIMARY CARE PARAMEDIC-TEMPORARY FULL-TIME (6-12 month terms)
Position Overview
Associated Ambulance is currently seeking qualified Primary Care Paramedics (PCP) to join our team at multiple s tations across the province . Although these full-time positions are currently temporary, they offer a predictable and balanced shift schedule of four days on, followed by four days off and may revert to permanent opportunties within the organization. As a PCP with Associated Ambulance, you will be an essential part of our emergency medical response team, providing vital pre-hospital care and life-saving interventions to the community.

Key Responsibilities
• Assess patient conditions to determine the extent of injury or illness and immediate care requirements.
• Administer pre-hospital emergency medical care, including patient stabilization for ambulance transportation.
• Monitor vital signs, assess blood glucose levels, and perform other diagnostic procedures.
• Execute advanced life support procedures such as intubation and cardiac pacing.
• Work collaboratively with emergency medical personnel, emergency communications officers, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
• Valid Primary Care Paramedic practice permit that meets the EMS practice requirements in Alberta.
• Current, valid Alberta Class IV driver’s license and VSC.
• Completion of all mandatory and required training , including MCP and PDIC .
• FARE Certificate
