New York, NY · Four-year fellowship · Start date: fall 2027 The 2027 Civil Rights Fellowship combines two years as a litigation associate at Fried Frank with two years working on-site at the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund (MALDEF) —the United States’ leading Latino civil rights organization. We are looking for lawyers who are as committed to civil rights as they are to becoming exceptional litigators. Please note: Your first two years will be in our New York office, and your third and fourth years will be based at MALDEF's headquarters in Los Angeles, with flexibility for regional placements in Chicago, Washington, DC, or San Antonio. Who Can Apply Third-year law students graduating in 2027 Outgoing judicial law clerks   The actual salary offered will be based on a number of factors including but not limited to the qualifications of the applicant, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. Salary Range $225,000 — $225,000 USD
