1st Shift Welder Insight Global is seeking a Welder / Fabricator for a top manufacturing and electrical solutions client. This individual will support fabrication and production operations by interpreting blueprints, setting up and operating welding equipment, and performing high-quality welds on a variety of materials. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial environment. Required Skills & Experience • High School Diploma or GED • At least 1 year of welding experience • Ability to read blueprints and tape measures • Experience welding steel, aluminum, copper, and other materials • Ability to properly operate welding equipment • Skilled with cutting torches and manual plasma cutters • Experience using grinders, buffers, brushes, pads, overhead cranes, and rubber hammers • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods • Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled environment • Willingness and ability to wear required PPE • Trained in or able to follow SOPs and work instructions Nice to Have Skills & Experience • Multi-position welding experience • Experience inspecting and repairing welds • Fabrication or manufacturing environment background • Experience working from detailed layouts and job specifications Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
