About the role: Justteachers is seeking a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant to join their team at a welcoming primary school in Fallowfield. The role is to begin in September on a full-time, temporary basis. The school promotes values such as respect, love and belonging while providing a supportive environment where pupils are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically and personally. Key Responsibilities: • Provide dedicated one-to-one support to a pupil, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their learning goals. • Work closely with the class teacher to implement individual education plans (IEPs) and targeted interventions. • Support the pupil’s social, emotional and behavioural development, promoting independence and confidence. • Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and staff. Pre-requisites: • Experience working with children or young people in an educational, childcare or support setting. • Good understanding of supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND, ASD or behavioural needs. • Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills. • Ability to build positive relationships and promote pupil confidence, independence and engagement.
