Line of Business: Aggregates Job Description About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing • Safely operate off-road and on-road haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within and from the quarry • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational • Load, haul, and unload materials efficiently while following site traffic patterns and safety rules • Communicate clearly with dispatch, load operators, and site personnel to support daily production goals • Maintain awareness of surroundings and adjust driving practices to changing site and weather conditions What Are We Looking For • Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial or heavy vehicles in industrial environments • Strong commitment to safety procedures, policies, and situational awareness • Ability to follow instructions, site rules, and regulatory requirements • Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team in a production-driven environment • Capability to perform physical tasks associated with quarry operations Conditions of Employment • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing Work Environment • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level What We Offer • $45.01 per hour • Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension • Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
