At SDA, we are hiring working students to work with our team to shape the future of software development for industrial automation engineers. Join our development team in creating state of the art software development and collaboration tools for industrial automation engineers. Support the development and testing of graphical interfaces to display industrial programming languages (IEC 61131-3). Set up test environments and implement edge cases for rendering of graphical languages. Support the implementation of demo systems for industrial fairs and customer sessions. Bachelor’s degree in mechanical / electrical engineering, computer science or equivalent Experience in configuring and programming of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (e.g., Siemens, Codesys, Rockwell) using IEC 61131-3 graphical languages (Optional) Experience with Python (Optional) Experience with Front-End development (JS, TS, React, SVG) Minimum availability of 12 working hours per week, preferably more (up to 40 hours for internship) Partial on-site attendance at company office at TUM Campus in Garching Forschungszentrum required  Self-starter mentality with excitement to relentlessly solve technical challenges  Intercultural competence as well as strong communication skills (English is a must!)
