Job Summary: Assist in all activities associated with the disposal or transfer of wastewater.   Reporting to: Maintenance Manager Location: Johnson City, TN Onsite Schedule: Mon-Fri, 3:00pm - 11:30pm Responsibilities/Essential Duties: Maintain wastewater area ensuring logs are updated and product disposed of properly. Add chemicals to disinfect water or other liquids Inspect equipment on a regular basis Monitor operating conditions, meters, and gauges Collect and test water Record meter and gauge readings and operational data Operate equipment to purify and clarify water Clean and maintain equipment and tanks Ensure safety standards are met Assist in other departments or areas as needed. Conform to all cGMP procedures and Standard Operating Procedures. Basic Qualifications: Three to five years’ experience in a manufacturing facility. Some knowledge of metric system.   Punctual and consistent attendance. High school diploma or equivalent Must be quality driven with good attention to detail but also be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This position requires extended periods of standing and walking on a manufacturing floor environment. Protective equipment (safety glasses, hearing protection, gowning) must be worn as required. The role operates in a temperature-controlled pharmaceutical manufacturing facility. Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs may be required. Must be available to respond to critical shift issues outside of scheduled hours on an as-needed basis.
