Hexagon Recruitment are working on behalf of a well-established logistics and air cargo operation to recruit an experienced Warehouse Night Shift Supervisor. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone with a strong background in warehouse, transport, or air cargo environments, who thrives in fast-paced, physically demanding operations. The Role You will take full responsibility for the warehouse operation overnight, ensuring smooth running of all activities through the night and into the day shift. This is not just a supervisory role — you’ll be actively involved on the warehouse floor, leading by example and supporting your team. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for night operations and warehouse staff Supervise and support warehouse operatives and drivers throughout the shift Oversee loading and unloading of vehicles, including company fleet Build and break down air freight pallets (ULDs) Ensure all cargo is handled safely, efficiently, and in line with procedures Cross-check cargo against paperwork to ensure accuracy and compliance Maintain clear communication with the management team Provide a detailed end-of-shift handover to the incoming team Uphold all Health & Safety standards across the warehouse Requirements What We’re Looking For Proven experience in warehouse and transport operations Experience within air cargo / freight environment (highly desirable) Valid forklift (MHE) experience, ideally up to 10-ton capacity Strong leadership and team management skills Ability to work in a busy, physically demanding environment Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workload A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Benefits What’s on Offer £35,000 salary + overtime opportunities Stable 4 on / 4 off shift pattern Key leadership role within a fast-moving logistics operation Opportunity to develop within the air freight and warehouse sector
