This is an exciting and highly visible position that plays an important role in shaping, supporting, and monitoring the future of Schumacher’s manufacturing operation. Role Overview The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the overall efficiency, accuracy, and organization of all warehouse activities, including inventory receiving, storage, and order fulfillment. This role is critical in ensuring a seamless flow of materials between vendors, the warehouse, and the production/shipping departments, directly impacting timely order completion. The Lead will be responsible for inventory accuracy through rigorous counting procedures and will play a key role in system and process implementation. Hours are 6:30am to 3:00pm Monday - Friday with potential for Overtime YOU WILL: Inventory Support & Accuracy Assist with the receiving, labeling, storage, and organization of raw materials and finished wallpaper products. Support daily and weekly cycle counts to help maintain inventory accuracy. Participate in end-of-month and end-of-year physical inventory counts as directed. Accurately record inventory movements in the Monday Board and related tracking tools. Report inventory discrepancies, damaged goods, or data errors to the Warehouse Lead promptly. Assist with inbound quality control (QC) checks to ensure materials meet specifications before being accepted into inventory. Warehouse Operations & Fulfillment Pick, stage, and prepare materials and finished goods for production or outbound shipping. Ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently according to production schedules and shipping timelines. Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse areas to support efficient workflows. Support coordination between Warehouse, Production, and Shipping teams to prevent delays due to material availability or handling issues. Assist with loading, unloading, and internal movement of materials using appropriate equipment.
