As the Warehouse Associate- Forklift Specialist, you will play a critical role in establishing dedicated material handling capabilities, driving daily shopfloor efficiency, and ensuring safe high-reach operations as our warehouse facility scales. In this position, you will serve as the primary operator for heavy-duty equipment and high-rack storage, bridging execution and safety to support high-volume fulfillment. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Operate heavy-duty forklifts daily, performing high-reach put-aways, retrievals, and replenishment at heights of 26+ feet. - Safely load, unload, stage, and secure inbound and outbound trailers, specialized containers, and oversized pergola components. - Perform pre-shift equipment inspections, maintain high-rack storage organization, and enforce strict OSHA safety standards. - Execute accurate real-time inventory updates and location confirms within the Warehouse Management System (Canary7). - Flex into general receiving, picking, kitting, and packing operations to support the shopfloor team as daily volume demands shift. WHAT YOU’LL BRING - Valid forklift certification with 2+ years of daily high-reach (26+ feet) and heavy-duty equipment operation experience. - Demonstrated ability to safely manage, maneuver, and lift large, heavy, or irregularly shaped freight and materials. - Basic proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) scanning and inventory confirmation tools (Canary7 preferred). - Uncompromising commitment to workplace safety, pre-shift equipment maintenance, and pedestrian awareness protocols. - A team-oriented mindset with reliable attendance, strong communication skills, and the flexibility to support floor priorities.
