We are looking for a VP, Quantum Computing Product Marketing to join our Compute division at IonQ. In this role, you will be responsible for defining and owning the overarching market story for IonQ's quantum computing products, contributing to the division's mission of establishing IonQ as the clear category leader in quantum computing. You will play an important part in shaping how the world understands what we build, turning deeply technical capability into a coherent and credible narrative that holds up with customers, partners, analysts and investors.
Responsibilities: In this position, you will work on the positioning, messaging architecture and launch narrative for the Compute portfolio, working closely with product, science, engineering and applications teams to understand what we are building and why it matters. You will partner with cross-product marketing on shared storylines, and with Marketing and Communications on consistency across IonQ. You will have the opportunity to replace a set of short, tactical stories with one overarching narrative, cutting through the noise of the quantum industry and giving every customer-facing team the same language to describe what we do.
Key responsibilities include:
Define and own the overarching Compute narrative and messaging architecture, and hold it consistent across every customer, partner, analyst and investor touchpoint.
Lead launch strategy and messaging for major Compute products and technical milestones, working from the technology roadmap through to market-ready storylines.
Translate complex quantum capability into clear, differentiated positioning that stands up to technical scru
