About the Role:  The VP, Applied Intelligence is a Senior leadership role accountable for setting the AI vision that defines Billtrust’s next chapter. You will harness AI tools, co-worker agents, and frontier intelligence capabilities to architect a product strategy that reshapes how 2,600+ global customers experience the future of B2B finance — bringing the irreplaceable human judgment required to turn transformative technology into durable competitive advantage. Reporting to the Chief Product Officer and operating as a key member of the Product leadership team, you will own Billtrust’s Applied Intelligence agenda end-to-end: setting the multi-year roadmap, building and inspiring a world-class organization, and serving as the company’s most senior external voice on AI-powered B2B finance. This role demands more than AI expertise alone. It requires a genuine understanding of how money moves through complex B2B relationships, and what it takes to replace manual, error-prone financial workflows with intelligent automation that customers trust with their cash. This is an executive mandate to define what an AI-first AR platform looks like, and to make it real at scale. What You'll Do:  AI Strategy & Executive Leadership • Set Billtrust’s Applied Intelligence vision and multi-year product roadmap, establishing the strategic framework that guides how AI shapes every layer of the AR lifecycle. • Serve as a member of the Product leadership team, shaping company-wide product strategy and influencing investment priorities at the executive level. • Define the operating model for how Applied Intelligence is built, deployed, and continuously improved — including governance, evaluation standards, and responsible AI principles. • Other duties as assigned. Product Development & AI Innovation • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Billtrust’s AI-powered capabilities — from opportunity identification and experimentation through scaled delivery and ongoing iteration — leveraging co-worker agents and AI tooling to compress timelines and raise quality. • Establish rigorous
