Description
We're working with a fast-growing renewable energy company based in Leuven is looking for a Software Engineer to join its expanding technology team. This is an opportunity to work on software that supports the transition to smarter energy, helping businesses and communities make better use of renewable resources.
The team is building modern digital products that sit at the heart of the company's energy solutions. They're looking for someone who enjoys solving real-world problems and collaborating with others to create meaningful applications. Responsibilities
Designing and building Full-Stack web applications using React, Node.js and TypeScript
Collaborating closely with product managers, designers and fellow engineers to deliver new features
Improving application performance, scalability and overall user experience
Writing well-tested, maintainable code and contributing to technical discussions and code reviews
Helping shape the technical direction of new and existing products
Commercial experience developing applications with React, Node.js and TypeScript
A solid understanding of modern JavaScript development and Full-Stack architecture
Experience working with REST APIs and integrating backend services
Familiarity with GIT and collaborative development practices
Someone who enjoys working as part of a team, communicates well and takes ownership of their work
A proactive mindset and an interest in building technology that has a positive environmental impact
Nice to have:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines or modern DevOps practices
Experience working in Agile teams
An interest in the renewable energy or sustainability sector
