For more information, visit  WPP.com . We are seeking a highly talented and collaborative After Effects (AFX) Editor & Motion Designer to join our fast-paced creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming creative concepts and storyboards into high-impact motion graphics and polished video content across social media, digital advertising, and broadcast platforms. The ideal candidate has deep technical mastery of Adobe After Effects, a sharp eye for timing, pacing, and typography, and a passion for crafting memorable visual experiences. Key Responsibilities Motion Graphics & Animation: Create professional 2D animations, kinetic typography, transitions, and basic visual effects (VFX) based on project requirements. Video Editing & Post-Production: Seamlessly edit video footage, integrate audio/sound effects, and apply color correction/grading to deliver polished final cuts. Storytelling & Concept Development: Turn creative briefs into engaging motion graphics and animations. Develop storyboards and visual concepts that clearly communicate the creative vision and connect with audiences. Template & Asset Creation: Build and maintain reusable After Effects templates, motion graphics templates (.mogrt), and asset libraries to streamline collaborative workflows. Platform Optimization:  Format, crop, and optimize final video assets for various digital aspect ratios (e.g., 16:9 for YouTube, 9:16 for TikTok/Reels, 1:1 for social feeds). Technical Troubleshooting:  Efficiently manage render queues, resolve software performance bottlenecks, and maintain highly organized project folders. Technical Skills & Qualifications Experience: 5+ years of professional experience as a Motion Graphics Designer, Video Editor, or AFX Specialist in an advertising agency, production house, or in-house studio. Software Mastery: Expert: Adobe After Effects (including advanced keyframing, masking, rotoscoping, tracking, and basic Expressions). Advanced: Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Strong Plus: Experience with Cinema 4D, Blender, or key AE plugins (Trapcode Suite, Element 3D, Optical Flares). Visual Portfolio:  A stellar showreel/portfolio demonstrating a strong grasp of motion theory, timing, pacing, color palette cohesion, and visual storytelling. Collaboration & Deadlines: Ability to receive and implement feedback constructively under tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable Additional Skills Strong foundational knowledge of graphic design, layout, and modern typography. Basic understanding of audio mixing and sound design principles. Familiarity with AI video generation and enhancement tools to augment the creative workflow.
