Context   Are you passionate about building immersive 3D experiences and pushing the limits of what’s possible with Unity? We’re looking for a Unity Software Engineer to help us shape the future of LiDAR simulation. In this role, you’ll design, develop, and refine features within our Unity-based platform, working hand-in-hand with designers, 3D artists, and engineers. Your work will drive the creation of scalable, high-performance, and intuitive solutions that empower our users and bring complex technology to life.   👉 Curious about what we’re building? Check out ourShift Simulator.     Responsibilites   Contribute to the functional and technical evolutions of the simulator. Synchronize with different teams including R&D, 3D artists and engineers. Prioritize and schedule the releases of bug fixes and features. Optimize the performance of our simulator with the help of Unity’s profiler tools. Design and restructure the code base. Develop dynamic simulation tools for model training and live demos. Continue the development of a realistic crowd simulation to navigate 3D environments.   Requirements for the Role   Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Game Development, or related field. Experience: 4-5 years working with Unity on professional projects (3D software, simulations, or games). Strong knowledge of Unity and C# programming. Good understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns. Experience with UI development in Unity (UI Toolkit / UXML / USS). Knowledge of Unity’s AI Navigation System. Ability to integrate and optimize 3D assets (environments, characters, interactive objects). Familiarity with Git Problem-solving mindset and attention to performance and memory optimization. System and architecture design Experience with debugging, testing, and profiling Unity applications. Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment. Curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn new technologies.   Why join us?
