Transport Supervisor | Metroll Sunshine Coast Metroll is a leading Australian manufacturer and supplier of metal building products, servicing both residential and commercial markets. We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Transport Supervisor to lead our Sunshine Coast transport operations. About the role This is a key leadership position responsible for managing drivers, coordinating delivery schedules, and ensuring efficient, safe, and compliant transport operations. You’ll play a critical role in planning delivery runs, overseeing fleet maintenance, and working closely with both internal teams and customers. Key responsibilities Plan, schedule and coordinate daily delivery runs and manifests Lead and support a team of drivers, including training and development Ensure deliveries are completed on time, in full, and to customer expectations Coordinate oversize deliveries, including pilot vehicles and site planning Liaise with customers regarding delivery requirements and timing Oversee fleet maintenance, servicing and repairs Ensure compliance with Chain of Responsibility, fatigue management and NHVR requirements Support day-to-day operations including loading, vehicle movements and occasional relief driving Working arrangements: Monday to Friday 8am – 4pm About you Current HC Truck Licence with experience in oversize loads Strong understanding of transport regulations and compliance requirements Proven experience in transport, logistics or fleet coordination Ability to lead, motivate and support a team Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills Customer-focused with excellent communication skills Self-motivated with the ability to work independently Desirable Experience within the building materials or manufacturing industry Forklift Licence and/or overhead crane experience Experience using transport planning or scheduling systems Basic computer and spreadsheet skills What We Offer Stable, full-time position with a well-established national company Supportive team environment Opportunity to take ownership of transport operations Ongoing development and career progression opportunities If you’re a proactive leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering efficient transport solutions, we’d love to hear from you.
