Please refer to Aspire’s Internal Mobility Policy for more information.   Open Positions:   Job title:  Transition Teacher The teacher at Aspire Living & Learning’s Transition and young adult Self Directed Service Program plays a vital role in the daily management of the program, including implementation of each individualized plan and supervision of Behavior Therapists ensuring program needs are met. Qualifications: Master's Degree preferred, Bachelor's Degree required Certification in general or special education in the state of Connecticut. Maintain active and in good standing CT Certification Previous experience in a supervisory capacity Ability to communicate effectively with parents, school districts, and all levels of staff across the organization Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Computer skills required (i.e., proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required; experience with CT-SEDS preferred). Must have satisfactory background checks Valid driver’s license and safe driving record Shift: 1st   Hours:  40  Pay:  $65,000-$75,000 Schedule:   Mon-Fri 8a-4p Aspire Living & Learning believes it must play an active role in creating a community of employees that is diverse, inclusive and equitable .
