Description
Overview Fuse Energy is a forward-thinking renewable energy company on a mission to deliver a terawatt of clean energy globally. We are creating a fully integrated energy system: from developing utility-scale solar and wind projects to real-time power trading and distributed energy installations. By selling directly to consumers, we lower costs and pass the savings on to our customers. We're building a new Training Centre in Birmingham to bring engineer training and assessment in-house. We're looking for a Centre Manager to lead it; running the centre day to day, owning its quality and accreditation, and building Birmingham into a fully accredited training operation. This is a leadership and quality-assurance role rather than a hands-on training role: you'll manage the trainers, and you'll be the person who makes sure the centre meets its standards. Responsibilities Run the day-to-day operation of the training centre - facilities, scheduling, budget, and team. Lead and line-manage the training team. Own the centre's quality-management system and lead internal quality assurance - independently sampling and verifying trainers' assessment decisions. Own the centre's accreditation: act as the named point of contact for the awarding bodies, and take the centre through approval and ongoing audits. Build and maintain the centre's compliance framework - health & safety, safeguarding, data protection, equality & diversity, malpractice and appeals. Lead health & safety across a site with live gas and electrical practical work. Drive continuous improvement across the centre's training and quality operations.
