GPV, a global leader in Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), is looking for a dedicated and skilled Test Engineer I to join our team at our facility in Kochchikade. About the Role As a Test Engineer I, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance, reliability, and continuous improvement of our production test systems. You will work at the intersection of electronics, fault diagnosis, and engineering to resolve product issues and drive manufacturing excellence. Key Responsibilities System Maintenance: Install, commission, qualify, and maintain new test systems to meet production and quality standards. Engineering Changes: Implement and validate Engineering Change Notices (ECNs). Documentation: Develop and maintain test procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation. Troubleshooting: Use structured root cause analysis to resolve test system and electronic assembly issues. Collaboration: Work directly with customer engineering teams to ensure compliance with product testing specifications. Automation & Development: Design and enhance automated test solutions and software tools to improve efficiency and coverage. Data Analysis: Analyze test yields and failure trends to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or an equivalent qualification. Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar industry role. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of electronic circuits, schematic analysis, and system troubleshooting. Programming proficiency in LabVIEW, C/C++, C#, and Python. Communication: Proficiency in written and spoken English, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
