Ready to join Eidel as our next Test Engineer and help us build reliable technology for space and defense? Eidel is an engineering company specializing in electronics, software, and system design for space and defense. Our core expertise lies in remote sensing, remote control, and encryption. As our markets continue to grow rapidly, so does our portfolio of projects and contracts. To support this growth, we are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team and help us realize our ambitions. About the Role As a Test Engineer at Eidel, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our products and systems. You will be part of the ILS (Integrated Logistical Support) team, working closely with colleagues across hardware, software, systems engineering and project management. Key Responsibilities: Conduct and document testing of modules and products Perform incoming inspection and quality control Integrate and assemble Eidel’s systems Support serial production and development projects Install products and systems at customer sites and deliver user training. Register and handle deviations and non-conformances Provide customer support and follow-up on service and maintenance contracts Desired Background Technical background, preferably in electronics. Vocational certificate and/or higher education from technical college or university, ideally in electronics, cybernetics, automation, or similar fields Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail Experience with production testing Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Some years of relevant work experience is preferred, but newly graduated candidates will also be considered In addition, the following are considered beneficial: Experience with use of measuring equipment as oscilloscopes and multimeters Experience with Python Knowledge of serial communication and networking Experience with environmental testing Soldering skills and familiarity with IPC standards Other requirements: Fluent in English and Norwegian (or another Scandinavian language), both oral and written Security Clearance Applicants must hold Norwegian citizenship and be eligible for Norwegian security clearance (SECRET / NATO SECRET).
