When you start at 1915 South, you are not just starting your next job; you are beginning your new career!   Job Responsibilities: ·        Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on furniture received from Ashley or returned from customer deliveries. ·        Assemble new components and install parts according to specifications, ensuring proper functionality before deployment. ·        Conduct detailed inspections to identify wear, damage, or safety concerns and test repaired furniture to verify performance and compliance with standards. ·        Track and manage parts inventory, order replacement parts, and maintain accurate records of usage. ·        Communicate findings, repair status, and recommendations to supervisors or management in a timely manner. ·        Follow all safety protocols and OSHA regulations while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. ·        Assist internal teams with technical questions and collaborate with other technicians to complete complex repairs efficiently. ·        Suggest process improvements to enhance shop efficiency and overall service quality. ·        Stay current on new repair techniques, tools, and product updates relevant to furniture restoration. ·        Support delivery resolution efforts by preparing repaired or reconditioned product for redeployment to guests.
