Your Missions We are seeking a highly technical, detail-oriented Technical Merchant Boarding Specialist to enable the onboarding of merchants onto our payments platform. This position combines technical expertise, project coordination, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure that merchants are launched efficiently, securely, and with confidence. The ideal candidate excels in fast-paced environments, enjoys resolving technical challenges, and adeptly translates complex requirements into seamless onboarding experiences. You will play a pivotal role in enabling merchants to launch and expand successfully, working at the intersection of technology, payments, and customer service. The Technical Merchant Boarding Specialist is accountable for the complete technical onboarding and configuration of new merchants across multiple payment platforms, customer relationship management (CRM) systems, and back-office systems. This role integrates strong technical proficiency with operational accuracy, guaranteeing that merchants are onboarded accurately, securely, and efficiently. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and proficient in managing complex technical configurations while collaborating across various departments. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Technical Onboarding & System Configuration • Perform initial merchant data entry across multiple internal systems, CRMs, and payment platforms with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrity. • Build and configure new merchant records across gateways, processors, mobile payment solutions, wireless terminal activations, and software data sheets. • Configure payment gateways, POS integrations, hosted payment pages, tokenization, recurring billing, and terminal deployments. • Execute test transactions and validate end-to-end payment flows prior to merchant go-live. • Request creation of new pricing tables and update backend systems as required. Data Processing & Quality Assurance • Complete basic and advanced data entry tasks for merchant registration and onboarding requests. • Review and manually process automated onboarding records that fail automation workflows. • Ensure the highest level of quality and accuracy for merchant processing accounts, pricing configurations, and equipment provisioning. • Review application pricing and escalate unusual or non-standard pricing items while balancing business needs and partner relationships. Risk, Compliance & Pre-Underwriting Support • Complete pre-underwriting KYC/KYB checks using third-party tools (e.g., LexisNexis, GIACT). • Verify merchant information and documentation to support underwriting and risk assessment. • Ensure proper configuration aligned with PCI and data security best practices. Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution • Research, identify, and resolve onboarding
