Our Financial Services client is seeking a hands-on Technical Lead to drive development across a Payments POD, a Commercial POD, and a Visa POD. You will lead a team of engineers, own technical delivery, and remain deeply hands-on — writing code, reviewing pull requests, and setting engineering standards.   This is a fully remote role, with the ideal candidate being based out of BC, Alberta, or Ontario, and working PDT hours.   Key Responsibilities    Lead and mentor a team of Java developers; own sprint-level technical delivery   Design, build, and review Java/Spring Boot microservices and RESTful APIs supporting payments, commercial banking, and Visa card platforms   Perform code reviews and enforce engineering standards for quality, security, and performance   Translate solution architecture into detailed technical designs and implementation plans   Drive CI/CD, testing, and DevOps practices on Azure   Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional stakeholders   Troubleshoot production issues and guide root-cause analysis     Qualifications   8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years as a Technical Lead in Financial/Banking sector applications   Expert ha
