Description
Create and manage high-quality technical documentation for advanced unmanned helicopter systems, ensuring clarity, compliance, and effective knowledge transfer across engineering and operational environments. Your Role & Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and manage technical documentation including user manuals, maintenance guides, operational procedures, and system specifications for unmanned helicopter systems Supplement technical documentation with CAD-generated detailed views and supporting visual materials Review, edit, and improve technical documents to ensure accuracy, consistency, clarity, and compliance with industry standards Collaborate closely with engineering, quality assurance, and production teams to collect technical information and ensure documentation reflects system capabilities and requirements Organize and maintain structured documentation repositories with proper version control and stakeholder accessibility Ensure technical documentation complies with aviation regulations, quality standards, and industry requirements Create training materials and support the development of internal and customer-facing training programs related to operations and maintenance procedures Continuously improve documentation processes and recommend best practices for technical writing and documentation management Support cross-functional teams while maintaining high standards of quality and documentation consistency Participate in international projects and travel as required Required Technical & Professional Expertise Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related technical field; certifications in technical writing or documentation management are considered a plus Proven experience in technical writing or documentation engineering, preferably within aerospace, UAV, or related industries Experience within the manned aviation industry is considered a strong advantage Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and understandable content Strong analytical skills combined with excellent technical understanding Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams Strong organizational skills and experience managing technical documentation repositories and version control processes Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Good English language skills (written and spoken); German is desirable Eligibility to work in Switzerland (Swiss or EU citizenship required)
