We are seeking an experienced Team Lead, Administrative Services to lead a team of retirement plan administrators while maintaining oversight of qualified retirement plan administration and compliance. This role is ideal for a seasoned retirement plan professional who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for developing others. The Team Lead will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of team deliverables, supporting complex client needs, driving process improvements, and serving as a technical resource for both clients and internal team members.
The ideal candidate has extensive A-to-Z defined contribution plan administration experience within a Third-Party Administrator (TPA) environment, enjoys mentoring others, and thrives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
As a Team Lead, Administrative Services, you'll play a critical role in developing retirement plan professionals while ensuring exceptional service for our clients. PLEASE NOTE: This is a fully remote position and can be performed from anywhere within the United States. We welcome candidates from all U.S. time zones; however, due to the primary locations of our partners and clients, preference will be given to those in the Pacific time zone.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, and support a team of retirement plan administrators, ensuring high-quality work, productivity, and adherence to compliance deadlines.
Oversee all aspects of qualified retirement plan administration and annual compliance for an assigned team of retirement plans.
Review, authorize, and provide final quality assurance for team members' work, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance.
Track workloads, monitor project progress, and proactively manage deadlines to ensure timely completion of annual administration requirements.
Coordinate with clients to request, obtain, and validate census data, financial information, and other required documentation.
