Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Tax Section Head to lead our Tax Department. The successful candidate will oversee all tax functions, ensuring compliance with local and international tax laws, optimizing tax strategies, and managing tax risks to support the company's financial health. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the tax team, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance. Oversee preparation and submission of all tax returns, ensuring compliance with local regulations and deadlines. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position and cash flow. Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the company. Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits and tax assessments. Ensure proper documentation and record-keeping of tax matters. Collaborate with finance and legal departments to support business operations and projects from a tax perspective. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional tax qualification is a plus. Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in tax accounting and management, preferably within the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry. Strong knowledge of local and international tax laws and regulations. Experience managing tax teams and coordinating with external auditors and tax authorities. Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership skills. Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems such as Oracle. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong knowledge of IFRS standards and tax regulations.
