Talend Architect – Job Description The Talend Architect at Unison Group will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable, and high-performance data integration solutions using Talend. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, data engineers, and architects to build end-to-end data pipelines that meet organizational data needs. Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Talend-based ETL/ELT solutions. Develop scalable and maintainable data integration workflows to support business intelligence and analytics. Define best practices and standards for Talend development and deployment within the organization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and design appropriate solutions. Ensure data quality, data governance, and security compliance across data integration solutions. Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to Talend developers. Optimize Talend jobs and workflows for performance and resource utilization. Participate in evaluating and integrating new data integration tools and technologies when necessary. Maintain comprehensive documentation of Talend architecture and data flows. Requirements 7+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development with a strong focus on Talend (Talend Data Integration, Talend Open Studio). Proven expertise in designing and architecting Talend-based data integration solutions. Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and best practices. Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, etc.). Experience with data quality, data governance, and metadata management practices. Good understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies is a plus. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities to collaborate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders.
