We appreciate the individuality of the people around us.   JOB SUMMARY:     We are looking for a skilled hands-on technical Systems Engineer with subject matter expertise in test and integration to help contribute to our Mission Engineering team environment with other systems, software and specialty engineers. This position requires an understanding of all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle to develop and deploy technical solutions. You will be part of a talented team of engineers that demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance and security.     This project delivers a mission-assured technical refresh of the CCIC2S Oracle database and RHEL operating environments, upgrading legacy systems to Oracle 19c and RHEL 9.7 while preserving full operational continuity.  It includes comprehensive engineering, integration, cybersecurity, testing, and deployment activities to ensure zero data loss, improved performance, strengthened security, and seamless compatibility across all CCIC2S mission systems.   Location will be north Colorado Springs initially and future work at Chidlaw and Peterson AFB occasionally.        SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:     Support systems engineering, test, and integration activities to ensure the installation matches the configuration-managed baseline and to verify settings and operations.   Develop and execute test activities to exercise high-level functions and capabilities and ensure there is no unintended deviation from the test environment.   Work with Linux, Windows, and virtual server environments, with the ability to support Oracle-based infrastructure and applications.
