As a System Engineer, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, validation, and support of integrated customer systems using Ascom and selected third-party solutions. You will work closely with customers, project teams, and technical stakeholders to ensure systems are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with customer requirements. Through your work, you will support operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and long-term service success. What You'll Own Implement, configure, and validate Ascom systems and third-party integrated solutions both remotely and on customer sites. Take ownership of technical work packages and small to mid-sized projects, managing preparation, execution, testing, and customer handover activities. Ensure complete functional readiness of delivered systems through systematic testing, verification, and validation activities. Validate system performance against specifications and document results in traceable, standardized formats to support compliance and service readiness. Identify, diagnose, and resolve technical issues using structured troubleshooting and diagnostic methodologies. Escalate complex technical challenges when necessary and drive sustainable resolution of system issues. Maintain accurate project and technical documentation, including configuration records, installation reports, material usage, and time tracking. Support project planning, scheduling, effort estimation, and progress reporting in collaboration with Project Managers and delivery teams. Perform lifecycle and support services, including software updates, preventive maintenance, and service interventions. Conduct customer training, system handovers, and solution reviews while identifying opportunities for technical enhancements and optimization. Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, R&D, customers, and partners to clarify requirements and ensure successful implementation outcomes. What Sets You Up for Success Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent experience. 3-5 years of hands-on experience in system engineering, technical implementation, system integration, or similar technical delivery roles. Proven experience installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting systems in complex environments such as healthcare, telecommunications, or critical communications. Strong understanding of system implementation, integration, and validation practices. Experience with networking fundamentals, including IP addressing, protocols, firewalls, and related infrastructure concepts.
