Who are we looking for? We are seeking a Supply Chain Supervisor to lead purchasing, supplier management, and material readiness activities that support uninterrupted plant operations and on-time customer delivery. This is a working supervisor role—balancing hands-on execution with team leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong procurement and supplier management experience, proven negotiation skills, and the ability to develop high-performing teams. This individual makes data-driven decisions, drives supplier accountability. You'll eliminate material shortages, reduce expedite costs, and ensure supplier performance aligns with operational and customer requirements. What you get to do! Oversee daily purchasing activities to ensure timely placement and management of purchase orders. Support buyers in pull-ins, push-outs, cancellations, and shortage mitigation actions. Intervene directly on critical shortages, high-risk materials, and advanced supplier constraints. Lead supplier customer concerns related to delivery, quality, and capacity issues and drive recovery planning. Negotiate pricing, lead times, MOQ, and service level commitments with suppliers. Develop and maintain Long-Term Agreements (LTAs) to support program launches and sustained production demand. Partner with Engineering to drive material cost reduction initiatives, alternative sourcing, and specification optimization. Directly supervise purchasing and supply chain personnel, setting priorities and balancing workload distribution. Coach and develop team capability in ERP utilization, supplier management, and procurement strategy. Partner with Production, Planning, Engineering, and Operations to align material readiness with manufacturing needs.
