Description
We are seeking an experienced Subsea Welding Inspector to support a major offshore EPC fabrication project. Acting as the Client's representative, you will oversee welding, fabrication, inspection, testing, and quality documentation activities, ensuring full compliance with project specifications, international codes and standards, and the highest quality requirements throughout the fabrication process. Requirements CSWIP 3.2 certification preferred (CSWIP 3.1 may be considered for highly experienced candidates). Minimum 4 years of experience as a Client Welding Inspector on offshore or subsea projects. Proven experience on large EPC fabrication projects within the Oil & Gas industry. Strong experience with subsea fabrication, including: Subsea jumpers Piping systems Connectors Valves Structural assemblies Solid understanding of pressure testing and hydrotesting activities. Practical experience with flange management throughout fabrication and testing phases. Excellent knowledge of welding inspection practices and NDT methods. Experience reviewing Manufacturing Record Books (MRBs), quality dossiers, NCRs, and final documentation. Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics, P&IDs, weld maps, and technical specifications. Strong knowledge of international standards and codes such as ASME, API, ISO, DNV, and project-specific requirements. Experience with carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex, and other materials commonly used in subsea fabrication. Strong reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills. Fluent English, written and spoken. Preferred Experience Candidates with previous experience on projects involving Saipem, Subsea7, TechnipFMC, McDermott, Allseas, or similar offshore EPC contractors will be considered an advantage. Previous involvement in subsea jumper fabrication, offshore structures, pipeline systems, or deepwater developments is highly desirable.
