We are looking for a highly motivated, knowledgeable, and r esults-driven Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning Coach to join our community. As the Sports Performance, Strength & Conditioning Coach, you will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive programs that enhance the athletic performance and overall well-being of our scholar-athletes. This position offers a unique opportunity to work within a dynamic educational environment committed to fostering excellence in academics and athletics.
Key Responsibilities
Designing and Implementing Sports Performance Programs
Develop and execute individualized strength and conditioning programs tailored to meet the needs and goals of scholar-athletes.
Conduct fitness assessments to evaluate scholar-athletes' strengths, weaknesses, and areas for improvement.
Utilize evidence-based practices to design progressive training protocols focusing on strength, speed, agility, flexibility, and injury prevention.
Leading Group Training Sessions
Conduct group workouts and training sessions for sports teams and individual athletes.
Instruct proper techniques for weightlifting, cardiovascular exercises, and other fitness activities.
Provide guidance on nutrition and recovery strategies to optimize performance and promote overall health.
Monitoring and Tracking Progress
Track scholar-athletes' progress and performance improvements over time.
Adjust training programs based on assessment results and feedback to ensure continuous development and growth.
Maintain detailed records of workouts, attendance, and performance metrics.
Collaboration and Communication
Work collaboratively with sports coaches and athletic staff to support athletes' development and performance goals.
Communicate regularly with coaches, parents, and school administrators regarding student-athletes' progress and program updates.
Promote a positive and motivating environment that fosters teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.

Coordinate and lead family meetings.
Receive routine, ongoing feedback and support from an outstanding leadership team and faculty.
Implement a comprehensive and inclusive sports program to compete in internal and external leagues.
Implement a curriculum that contains goals and benchmarks for scholars to meet.
Implement lesson plans and activities that introduce scholars to the basics of physical movement through multiple sports.
Encourage scholars to engage in regular physical activity and develop a lifelong interest in sports and physical activity.
Expected to work on weekends and travel between different training sites
