Solicit redline feedback and ensure it’s incorporated into designs. External Fabrication Support: Partner with supply chain, quality, and our external suppliers to align on design releases, build plans, identify material bottlenecks, and establish implementation schedules. Risk Management: Guide the engineering team through planning and execution of EDS risk assessments to proactively identify and mitigate program risks. Design Control: Lead EDS focused engineering change control board (CCB) submissions from initiation through incorporation and support the documentation/activities associated with final safety case closure. Operational Excellence: Look for opportunities to standardize and streamline team processes and ways of working. For example, standardizing how the team tracks work through the development lifecycle. Required qualifications 5 Years + experience managing complex hardware development programs leveraging cross-functional resources in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality Proven ability to build and maintain program control documentation including integrated master schedules, risk registers, resource plans, and budgets Experience executing engineering change management processes Proficiency with program and task management tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Jira, and Confluence.
