Our Staff Platform Engineer Designs, implement, maintain, and continuously improves the organization's platforms and infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, security, scalability, and operational efficiency Responsibilities Design, implement, and optimize secure, scalable platform infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions. Manage Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms and containerized workloads while ensuring high availability, performance, and operational resilience. Deploy, administer, and optimize IBM Cloud Pak Stacks, Confluent, Elasticsearch, and related platform technologies. Ensure effective monitoring, incident response,, logging, alerting, and observability solutions to proactively identify and resolve platform issues. Strengthening platform security through access management, vulnerability remediation, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive DevOps adoption, automation initiatives, and continuous platform improvements. Maintain technical standards, operational documentation, deployment guides, and support audits and operational reviews Requirements Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or related disciplines. Strong experience with Linux/Windows administration, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Docker, CI/CD pipelines, scripting, Infrastructure as Code, Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Experience with monitoring and observability platforms, networking, production support, and service reliability practices. Exposure to IBM Cloud Pak Stacks, Confluent, and Elasticsearch is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of incident management, troubleshooting, security best practices, backup, disaster recovery, and performance optimization. Excellent problem-solving, planning, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to lead technical initiatives. Benefits
