If you're driven to help reshape how banking works for Canadians and the businesses that power our economy, this could be your next big opportunity.  We can’t wait to get to know you!  The Work    The Staff Engineer plays a key role within the Infrastructure Solutions team, defining infrastructure strategies and roadmaps with a strong emphasis on network engineering initiatives. This role will involve finalizing designs and technical implementations that align with the architecture established by the Enterprise Architecture function, ensuring optimal use of technology within the organization. The specialist will contribute to the development of policies, processes, and procedures for Infrastructure & Operations (I&O) and provide expert advice on technology utilization to enhance overall enterprise value.   In addition to these responsibilities, the position will focus on creating robust network architectures and developing high-level designs that meet business requirements. This includes designing network topologies, selecting appropriate technologies, and producing detailed documentation. The specialist will collaborate with various teams, including Azure Cloud Operations and business unit infrastructure requirements, to ensure alignment with organizational objectives while supporting high-level infrastructure needs across the enterprise.
