Hyntelo srl is seeking a full-time, highly skilled Senior Data Engineer who is passionate about data analysis and data-driven solutions to join our team in Pisa. The role entails the design, development, and maintenance of structured data analysis pipelines, working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions with the objective of enhancing data value. This involves collaborating between various teams and ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, an essential aspect of the role is laying in supporting and mentoring junior data engineers.   Key responsibilities include supporting and mentoring junior data engineers, collaborating between different teams, ensuring data integrity and security, and working closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions.   Master’s degree in Computer Engineering/Data Science/Data Engineering or equivalent.   Fluent in English.   Proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role.   Strong knowledge of the following programming languages or similar: Python, SQL.   Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g. MySQL).   Expertise in data pipeline and ETL processes and tools (e.g. Airflow, Databricks workflows).   Knowledge of Source Code Management systems (e.g. git)     Familiarity with Shell scripting     Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.   Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects.   Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.   Knowledge of Machine Learning theory is a plus (e.g. Supervised / Unsupervised learning)     Familiarity with Cloud computing services is a plus (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google)     Ability to work with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus     Previous experience in team management will be considered a plus.   Previous experience with SCRUM teams is a plus.   Full-time preferred.
